The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) is replacing a 6-inch water valve on Court Street in Hazelwood. Work will begin at 8:00 am and is expected to be completed by 4:00 pm.
Residents in Lawrenceville will experience an interruption of water service
PWSA is installing two new water valves in Squirrel Hill; a 20-inch valve at the intersection of Murray Avenue and Forward Avenue; and a 6-inch valve at 2236 Murray Avenue. The additional valves will increase isolation and minimize the impact on customers during maintenance. Work will begin Monday, July 7, 2014 at midnight and is expected to be completed six hours later at 6:00 am.
PWSA is repairing a 15-inch sewer on Kenwood Avenue in Perry South.
PWSA is implementing a sewer improvement project on Valmont Street, Aylesboro Avenue and Northumberland Street in Squirrel Hill. The project consists installing new 8", 15" and 24" storm sewers and a new 8" water main.
PWSA is repairing a 12-inch sewer on Sterret Street at Fielding Way in Homewood.
PWSA is relaying an 8-inch water main in Buena Vistra Street, Clayton Street, Langtry Street and Kincaid Street in the North Side. Final restoration is expected to be completed byt he end of July.
